Kathleen Jeremiassen
Dean of Parents
Dr. Kathleen Jeremiassen serves as Dean of Parents at GT School, building strong, trust-based partnerships between families and school. She previously served four years as President and Principal of a nonprofit private institution and brings more than a decade of experience in educational leadership and program lead roles in Texas public education. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Master’s in Educational Leadership & Supervision, and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry.
Chazzmon Roper
Guide
Chazz holds a Degree from Duke University in Computer Sciences and Video Media Studies on a full academic scholarship, after turning down both Columbia and Harvard. Fun Fact: he worked full time as an accountant for a private equity firm his senior year of high school!
As a first generation collegiate graduate, he is deeply committed to guiding life skills at GT alongside exceptional, results-driven educational experiences.
Keith Wong
Campus Coordinator
Keith holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin, where he has gained experience leading projects, supporting large teams, and bridging communication between clients and customers. At GT School, he helps the GT School’s staff and campus perform at their best so the students can thrive. Outside of work, he enjoys following professional sports, spending time with friends, and exploring great food.
Crystal Martel
Lead Guide
Crystal holds a B.A. in Arts from Queen’s University where she studied music and theatre. She also has a self-directed passion for chemical biology. Leaning on her prior experience with K-12 students in public and private programs, her goal is to create an environment where every student feels heard, supported, and motivated to explore new ideas and overcome challenges.
Amelia Dansby
Admissions Coordinator
After earning my bachelors degree from Baylor University, I worked with middle school science students and teachers in Title 1 schools. After a long break from working in education, I am happy to be back as the Admissions Director for the Alpha Speciality Schools in Austin (NextGen Academy, GT School, and Texas Sports Academy). I love helping families find the perfect school for their students. It is exciting introducing new families to our innovative learning model!
Matt Starolis
Elite Guide
Matt Starolis joins GT School as an Elite Guide, leading our academic competition program, advancing workshops, and strengthening rigor. An engineer trained at The University of Texas at Austin, he has held leadership roles across engineering, finance, cybersecurity, startups, and Microsoft. Formerly Head of STEM at Fusion Academy, he was the campus’s most requested educator.
Grant Cain
Guide
Grant holds a B.A. in Psychology and Communications from Southwestern University, and is the Leader of largest National Junior Honor Society in Georgetown ISD. He is also the author of the YA Sci-Fi books The Paradox Series and achieved a Perfect Math SAT Score. After years teaching in traditional education, he is excited to bring his skills to GT School and help children achieve their potential.
Lauren Marques

I’m Lauren Marques, and I’m so excited to join the GT campus this year! I’ve spent the last 5 years in special education, working closely with diverse and neurodivergent learners. That experience shaped my core belief that students are truly limitless when we give them the right challenges, support, and opportunities. I set high expectations for every learner and love helping students stretch their strengths in meaningful ways.
Pam Hobart
GT Education Expert
Pamela Hobart is Gifted & Talented Education Evangelist for GT School a.k.a. "GT Mom" and herself a mother of gifted children. She educates parents on the benefits of academic acceleration for high-capability learners. Pamela studied the philosophy of education and education policy at Teachers College, Columbia University.
